A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Siria Nieves, who passed away on February 14, 2025, will be held on Tuesday, February 25, at 11:00 AM at Aaron A. Cooper Mortuary, 5016 N. 22nd St., Tampa, FL 33610.

Mrs. Nieves was born on July 15, 1939, in the beautiful city of Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, to Jeronimo Soto and Andrea Soto, both of whom preceded her in death. She was the cherished wife of Iluminado Albelo, who also preceded her in death. A devoted and loving mother, Mrs. Nieves found joy in her children, who were the light of her life.

She was a beloved sister to Aleja Martinez (preceded in death), Eulogia Santiago, Iris Soto (preceded in death), Daniel Soto (preceded in death), Eduardo Soto (preceded in death), Esther Rivera, and Tomasa Soto (preceded in death).

Mrs. Nieves will be fondly remembered for the memories she created with her family, especially her love for shopping and spending time with them. A woman of deep faith, she was a dedicated member of Iglesia De Ebenezer Inc. for 33 years. Her love and warmth left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and a host of loving family members.
