It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ramona Skerrett, who left us on March 30, 2025, at the age of 79. Ramona was born on October 28, 1945, in the beautiful city of Pounce, Puerto Rico, and spent her life devoted to her family and the love that defined her.

A wonderful mother and a cherished matriarch, Ramona’s heart was full of warmth and laughter. She was the proud mother of six children, and her legacy of love and nurturing will live on through them and her many grandchildren. Ramona’s greatest joy came from being surrounded by her family, sharing moments of laughter, and making lasting memories. She had a remarkable gift of making those around her feel loved, appreciated, and always welcome.

Ramona enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, finding joy in sewing and cooking for her loved ones. Her home was always filled with the comforting aroma of delicious meals, and her creative hands brought beauty and care to everything she made. Her generosity of spirit and her ability to create a sense of togetherness made her the heart of her family.

She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, and all who had the honor of knowing her. Her legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to her family will forever remain in the hearts of all who were touched by her kindness.

A celebration of Ramona’s life will be held at Aaron A. Cooper Mortuary.
