In Loving Memory of Ieasha Owen

Ieasha Owen was born on November 28, 1991, at 4:00 PM at the Medical University of South Carolina. She passed away peacefully at home on March 22, 2025, at 7:35 PM.

Ieasha graduated from South Gwinnett High School and faced a lifelong battle with epilepsy. At the age of 14, she underwent her first major surgery, which marked the beginning of many medical challenges. Despite multiple surgeries, changes in medications, and frequent hospital visits, she remained strong and resilient through every obstacle.

Ieasha found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved bowling, swimming, playing Uno, and coloring. Bubbles and balloons always brought a smile to her face, and she cherished moments spent with her loved ones.

She is survived by her devoted parents, Martell Drayton and Kristina Owen; her loving siblings, Deja Blue, Lashae Blue, and Jada Drayton (sisters), along with Marquis Pendergrass, Raheem Debnam, Martell Keyes, Ahmad Keyes, and Brian Keyes (brothers). Ieasha also leaves behind 10 nieces, 8 nephews, her grandmothers Melody Edington and Brenda Drayton, as well as her uncles John Shuler, Jeffery Owen, and Tyrell Drayton, and her aunt Jeanette Drayton. She was also blessed with four sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, and a host of extended family and friends who will deeply miss her presence.

Ieasha’s strength, love, and joyful spirit will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved her.
