Christopher E. Chatman Sr. of Plant City, FL was a devout individual who prioritized faith, family, and love. He possessed a unique ability to connect with others, making everyone feel like part of his family. Affectionately known as “Crib” by his loved ones and friends, he spent much of his leisure time grilling or frying fish, fostering an atmosphere of love and celebration in his neighborhood. As a coach, mentor, father figure, and deacon, “Mr. Chris” ensured that all his youth mentees felt seen and heard. He leaves behind a legacy of over 40 years of impacting the youth of Plant City, Tampa, and beyond. Chris was a singular individual, an extraordinary man, exemplary father, and dependable friend, and his passing will be deeply felt by all who loved him.

My sincere condolences in the loss of Dea. Chris. He was a blessing to our church and members. He was Always so thoughtful and eager to assist whenever needed.

My prayers for you Sis. Rose for your strength and fortitude to get thru this first phase of bereavement of pain, hurt and sorrow. Only God can get you thru it. I’ll be praying for you go thru the subsequent phases.

I’m also praying for his remaining family for your peace and comfort.
